Last week was Harvest festival and it was also a school holidays, we planned a relaxing beach trip at the tip of Borneo @Tanjung Simpang Mengayau ,Kudat,Sabah.
I last visited this place back in 2005 and it was picture perfect with white sand, clear waters and fantastic sunset view. This time around, it still is beautiful and with better development such as sealed road, more resorts, cafes and water equipment rental.
From top of the hill you can view the whole lagoon and the white long sandy beach. People come to this place to relax and enjoy the nature.
The tip of Borneo Island, after this is open sea and next nearest place will be the Philippines.

My hubi bought a barbie kite for our princess but i tested it first. Look at me handling the kite, I got it flying high.
My princess also did it, her kite is also flying high. But, she rather play in the water as the wave is strong when we were there.

Time to check out and go back home. there's a lot of resort at this area but we stayed at Tommy's Place beach resort recommended by a friend.. nice place, hot shower, air-con and not to expensive. Its really a nice short trip....
