'Teachers Day Flowers Gift' Pattern

Hi everyone...
Like I promised, I want to share my tutorial how to make this flowers. These flower I made for my daughter as a gift for her teachers during Teachers Day last month.

Material needed:
  • Yarn, any color of you choice.(mine is white,pink,yellow and peach)
  • Crochet hook. (I use stainless hook brand Tulip 1.25mm)
  • Tapestry needle to sew in the ends.
Abbreviations :
  • ch; chain
  • sc; single crochet
  • sl ss; slip stitch
  • dtr; double treble

Center & Petals :
  • With a 1.25mm hook and yellow yarn,make a magic loop.
  • round 1; ch1(does not count as st throughout),6sc into the loop ,sl ss to beg ch-1 to join (6 sts)
  • round 2; sl ss ,ch4(counts as dtr), 2 dtr ,ch4 and sl ss same stich. repeat this 5 times until you to make 6 petals. fasten off and weave in loose end.
Flower Base :
  • ch 14, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch 12, last ch 2sc in one stitch. working across opposite side of foundation ch 6sc, dec 2sc in one stitch, 6 sc, last 2sc in one stitch.
  • sl ss, ch 1, 5sc, dec 3sc in one stitch, 5sc, inc 2sc in one st, working across opposite 6sc ,dec 2sc (2times), 6sc, inc 2sc in one st, sl ss in the begining round. fasten off.
